Endowment for progrqms that integrate the humanities with business education, including a research seminar and affiliated fellowships in the humanities; visiting humanities scholars programs; and an undergraduate fellows seminar.

As a predominantly business-focused university, Bentley seeks endowment funding for innovative humanities programs. Having pioneered the integration of liberal learning in our curriculum as early as the 1970s, we have invigorated the humanities on our campus via a new honors program; a highly popular second major in liberal studies which resulted from an NEH Humanities Focus Grant; our new, trans-disciplinary PhD. Program; and high profile work offered through our new Arts & Sciences center. New endowment funds for the center will secure the future of a humanities research seminar with faculty and student fellows appointed for the year; short-term humanities scholar visits; and two annual intensive student seminars co-taught by humanities faculty. Bentley's humanities programs reach students who do not necessarily comprise a natural constituency of humanistic inquiry and provide a model for meaningful study among pre-professionals nationwide.
