Establishing a Center for Humanities and Medicine at Ivy Tech Community College-Wabash Valley
Endowment and fundraising expenses to establish a Center for Humanities and Medicine.
As part of an ongoing, College-wide effort to increase the level of humanities education of its students, Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana, Wabash Valley (Ivy Tech) proposes to establish a Center for Humanities and Medicine. The Center will organize lectures, workshops and exhibits around an annual theme that relates medicine and the humanities and will be directed by a member of the Ivy Tech--Wabash Valley humanities faculty. By linking humanities and medicine, Ivy Tech hopes to increase student awareness of and participation in the humanities.
