To establish a BA Program in Medieval Studies at SUNY's Center for Medieval and Early Renaissance Studies (CEMERS). The BA program will develop further the role of Latin in medieval studies. The Program will organize disciplinary activities of ten instructional departments and twenty-one of their faculty into a coherent interdisciplinary whole. Each semester one or two new or extensively revised courses, which faculty members, will have developed during the summer, will enter the curriculum. A wide variety of teaching methods and extensive audio-visual use will be features of the program.
