Humanists, in cooperation with biomedical and social scientists, are involved in an interdisciplinary effort which will be of importance to students of the health professions and the humanities. The grant will increase the competency of current and new faculty in interdisciplinary teaching, allows various departments to release faculty for program teaching and also strengthens humanities departments by the addition of courses in the program.
