Appalachian Studies Program
To develop a cross-disciplinary program of regional studies on Appalachia at the University of Kentucky. Courses with the core themes of culture, development, ecology, biography/autobiography, community, responsibility and justice will be developed. The curriculum may be used for elective courses, undergraduate and graduate minor fields, and undergraduate topical majors on Appalachia.
