PILOT PROG. IN INTERGRATED LIBERAL STUDI ES & CRITICAL SKILLS TO HUMANITIES ED.

10 ODC faculty will test 2 new interrelated two-course sequences in comprehensive liberal studies (CLS) and basic critical skills (BCS) with 120 to 140 freshmen and new transfer students. Goal is to undergird ODC's B.A. general education degree requirements in the humanities and liberal arts by providing new students of diverse backgrounds with a common base for intellectual discourse and the critical skills needed to carry on this discourse. An outside humanist will carry out a descriptive evaluation.
