Project will provide 100 students each year with challenging humanities internships on multi—cultural education projects with local education agencies. Useful locally-initiated projects will be developed by local advisory groups and matched with interested students recommended by faculty from colleges throughout the 13 western states. Students will complete assignments under local supervision and present the results in professional reports. Projects results will be used locally as well as disseminated to the 15 nationwide depository libraries and through regional bilingual service agencies such as the Southwest Bi-lingual Education Resource
