ACADEMIC STUDY OF RELIGION IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS
To introduce the academic study of religion into secondary schools and to develop a model for the in-service training of teachers in the field. The courses developed will focus on major world religions, religion in the U.S.A., on modes of religious experience, or deal with religion and society or the arts, or examine religious texts as literature.
