Park as School Program of the Central Park Task Force
To establish a teacher training orientation workshop on Park history, geology, soil, plants, climate, and related areas as part of a project to institutionalize use of urban parks as a major educational resource. To develop curriculum material including filmstrips relevant to use of city parks as outdoor learning centers.
