Past to Present: Teacher Training Through the Communal Past
To fund a 1 semester course, Past to Present, organized around the experiences of individuals in and around the Lawrence strike of 1912 and on the strike's continuing impact on the community. This model course is designed to develop the system's teachers' capacity to build and experience curriculum focused around the strike. Final products including a process guide, curriculum learning package, videotape and audiotapes, and formal teaching training reports will be produced.
