The Young Republic: American Life and Culture, 1783-1830: A Four Week Institute for Elementary School Teachers
To support a four-week summer humanities institute for 60 elementary and middleschool teachers. The participants will study the history, literature, religion, and arts of the period from 1783 to 1830 in American life and develop curricular materials.
