LIterature & Representation
To examine American literature in the innovative genres since 1945. Topics will include the anti-novel, performance journalism, fantasy fiction, the interview, confessional poetry, and the autobiographical essay. Authors will include Vonnegut, Mailer, Pynchon, Lowell, Baldwin, Sontag and Terkel.
