Games for Change Student Game Design Challenge
The implementation of a student game design challenge in New York City, Dallas, and San Francisco incorporating the humanities theme “Local Stories/Immigrant Voices.”
Games for Change (G4C) requests support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) for its annual program, the National G4C Student Challenge, a digital game design competition that invites middle and high school students to create original games about real-world issues impacting their communities. NEH funding of $100,000 will be used to support a Humanities theme for the 2016-2017 Challenge, to conduct the contest in three cities, and to incorporate humanities learning opportunities for participating students by involving humanities scholars in the program.
