Prince Among Slaves
Production of a 90-minute film about Abdul Rahman bin Ibrahima Sori, an African prince who was captured in battle in 1787, sold into slavery, shipped to Mississippi, and, 40 years later, freed and sent back to Africa.
A 90 minute documentary for PBS that tells the true story of an African Prince sold into slavery in the American South.
