General Preservation Assessment of the Berkshire Theatre Festival Archive Collection

A general preservation assessment of the Berkshire Theatre Festival archives that documents regional theater in Massachusetts since 1928.

With support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Berkshire Theatre Festival(BTF) will hire a consultant from the Northeast Document Conservation Center. The consultant will conduct a general preservation survey of the BTF archives with the purpose of identifying priorities both short and long term for the preservation of the theatre's present archival material and future materials.
