The collections document the history of women's suffrage and equal rights campaigns from 1913 to the 1970s and include archival records, furniture, fine and decorative arts, textiles, and memorabilia.
With the proposed Preservation Assistance Grant, the National Woman's Party will contract with Wendy Jessup of Wendy Jessup and Associates, Inc. to conduct a preservation assessment of the Sewall-Belmont House and Museum's existing and potential collections storage areas and make recommendations for improvements. This collections storage plan will be used by the NWP to identify and select a space or spaces for use as collections storage and plan funding for and implementation of the improvements. |
