The University of Denver Museum of Anthropology requests funds to hire an objects conservator to assess two key perishable archaeological collections. The conservator will assess each object (590 objects total), complete condition reports, and suggest detailed storage solutions, including object handling mounts. The collections, the Franktown Cave and Kenton Caves collections, are two of the most requested research collections at the Museum and improved storage is imperative to their preservation. |
