Grant support is being requested to remedy the serious storage problems presently existing in the remote storage room of the SUNY Potsdam College Archives and Special Collections. If left unresolved, the inadequate storage of materials may result in damage to the materials. The funding will be used to purchase shelving and oversize storage units to provide adequate and appropriate storage for historical documents and other formats. In addition, funding will also be used to purchase UV filters to prevent light damage to all of the materials located in the room. |
