The Dallas County Heritage Society seeks funding to hire a qualified conservation specialist to conduct an assessment of preservation needs for our collection of approximately 24,000 artifacts. The results of this assessment would serve as the basis for a long-range preservation plan for the collection, and to seek grant funding for conservation of collection items. Previous general collection assessments (MAP II and MAP I) have recommended such a survey. |
