Additionally, the Laboratory Director will attend two one-day workshops on the preservation of digital materials at the Northeast Document Conservation Center.
The Antonio J. Waring, Jr. Archaeological Laboratory (Waring Laboratory) at the University of West Georgia is seeking funding for a conservation consultant in archaeological material, an archive consultant specialized in photography and negatives, an HVAC specialist, and to send the Laboratory Coordinator to two workshops at the Northeast Document Conservation Center. This project will allow the Waring Laboratory to collaborate with the consultants and the HVAC specialist to develop a long range plan for managing and improving its environmental conditions for care of its diverse archaeological collections. |
