The Columbus Museum of Art seeks funding from the NEH to support efforts to conduct a general preservation and access assessment of its paper and film-based historical records and papers. The assessment would be used to prepare short- and long-term recommendations for the preservation, housing, and accessibility of the historical materials. In addition to supporting the work of internal Museum staff, these materials will be of significant interest and value to art historians and historians, and to scholars of American and popular culture and cultural and ethnic studies, as well as those scholars interested in organizations and institutions that house cultural resources. |
