Leo Strauss Center
The Chairman's Grant will support the initial operations (staffing and services) of the Leo Strauss Center, which will permit enhanced access to the institution's significant collection of primary sources generated by Strauss. The new center's purpose and objectives include the digitization and online presentation of lecture recordings, the production of edited lecture transcripts, digitization of Strauss' correspondence and other documents, and development of a dedicated Web site to facilitate access to these materials.
