School for Advanced Research Resident Scholar Fellowship Program
One nine-month fellowship a year for three years.
The proposed project will provide support for three resident scholars per year for three years at the School for Advanced Research. Scholars will reside at its campus in Santa Fe, New Mexico during a nine-month tenure, from September 1 thru May 31. Preference will be given to scholars who have completed their research and who need time and support to prepare book-length manuscripts on topics in the humanities. Scholars may approach their projects from the perspective of anthropology or from related fields such as American Studies or history. Each scholar will be provided with an apartment and office on campus, a $40,000 stipend, an allowance for work-related expenses, library support, computer assistance, as well as access to the School's archival and Indian arts collections.
