Publication of volumes VI and VII and work on volumes VIII and IX. (36 months)
The Martin Luther King, Jr., Papers Project requests funding support for Volumes VI through IX of a fourteen-volume edition of the Papers of Martin Luther King, Jr. The Project, under the direction of Clayborne Carson, will publish Volumes VI and VII and continue acquisitions, cataloging, and annotation on Volumes VIII and IX during the period of the grant. The edition is being published by the University of California Press.
