UCLA International Lessing/Mendelssohn Symposium
Supports an international conference of Lessing-Mendelssohn scholars. Focus on theoretical works of Lessing and Mendelssohn, including perspectives on 18th-century society and politics.
To present an international symposium that will examine the lives and works of Gotthold Ephraim Lessing (1727-1781) and Moses Mendelssohn (1729-1786), two of the most important figures of the German Enlightenment.
