Latino Voices in Southern Nevada
An oral history and community engagement project titled “Latino Voices
in Southern Nevada.”
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Libraries Special Collections
and its Oral History Research Center (OHRC) are dedicated to documenting and
sharing the diverse history of Southern Nevada. The proposed oral history and
community engagement project, Latino Voices in Southern Nevada, will expand the
diversity of the voices we preserve, involve students in connecting with the
community, and engage multiple generations in reflecting on the lives and
experiences of the region’s Hispanic residents. This project will create
lasting bridges for communication and understanding between younger and older
generations.
