A Photographic Collection – The Stout-Feldman Studio Photographs (Blog Post)
Title: A Photographic Collection – The Stout-Feldman Studio Photographs
Author: Bryan Winter
Abstract: The Stout-Feldman Studio in El Paso, Texas, was well known for its photographic portraits. The studio's photographers also took pictures of faculty, staff, and organizations at the Texas College of Mines and Metallurgy--now the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). The University Library acquired the collection in 2008 and is now doing preservation work on the collection. An exhibit of photographs from the collection will be on display in the UTEP Library and will open on June 15, 2012.

Primary URL Description: The Transformations blog provides a public, scholarly space in which to investigate the history, transformation, and impact of The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) on the occasion of its centennial in 2014. We seek to place the university’s past and present within the context of the El Paso community, Texas and the American Southwest, the U.S.-Mexico borderlands, changes in higher education, and the field of public commemoration.
