The development of an interdisciplinary curriculum for undergraduates with a focus on the social, cultural, and historical contexts of health, medicine, and medical ethics.

This grant project aims to create an interdisciplinary Health Humanities option within the Liberal Arts major with a focus on social and cultural contexts of health, illness, and health care. Combining humanities, health, and social science courses, this option will offer students an opportunity to learn about various health and health care related issues from diverse disciplinary perspectives.
