Extension of the Comprehensive Roster/Survey to Include Doctorates in the Humanities

Proposal to permit the extension of the Comprehensive Roster to include recipients of doctorates in the humanities from universities in the U.S. since 1930. The extension of the Roster will result in: 1) a mechanism for conducting surveys, and 2) regularly obtained data about a sample of the total PhD population, needed in national planning for optimal utilization of doctoral manpower.
