Support (a) the preparation, implementation and refining of an interdisciplinary course and (b) the subsequent planning of a 90-minute film on Chicago and its White City of 1893. Offered under the auspices of the Program in American Culture and the History of Art Department, the Course will stress the relation of artistic expression to social structure.
