For three related projects: A pilot program entitled "Culture Vultures: Adventures in the World of Creative Experience," consisting of a series fo 6-week mini-courses in which students view and critically discuss examples of drama, dance, music, poetry and literature; a team-taught course in "Great Civilizations: An Interdisciplinary Learning Experience," directed by faculty from the fields of English, history, philosophy, science and the arts; two Humanities Institutes open to selected faculty members, administrators, students, and community representatives.
