To strengthen non-disciplinary humanistic curricula; to evaluate disciplinary-based humanities curricula; to replace a significant portion of present departmental general education curricula with non-departmental curricula; to encourage humanistic faculty to be accessible intellectuals to undergraduates; to develop a model for continuing curricular evaluation; to develop continuing and permanent resources for educational development and innovation at the undergraduate level.
