The translation project for which I seek support from NEH is an annotated collection of poems by the Polish poet Tadeusz Rozewicz (b. 1921). The fellowship would enable me to complete a 250-page scholarly collection, accompanied by a translator's introduction highlighting translation methods and setting the literary and cultural context for the poems, the majority of which will be appearing in English for the first time.
