LeCorbusier: His Art and Thought

Critical monograph on LeCorbusier, one of the greatest architects of the 20th century. Almost every city in the U.S. and Europe show LeCorbusier's influence and the planning or redevelopment of cities on both sides of the Atlantics owes a great deal to this Swiss-French city planner/architect. Study to encompass LeCorbusier's entire career, concentrating of his architecture as it is related to his personality and inner being. Fellow to work in the "Fondation LeCorbusier" in Paris, which houses a large part of his architectural plans, drawings, sketches and books, and in the "Centre LeCorbusier" in Zurich, where many of his paintings, sculptures, and drawings are kept. Fellow also to interview friends and relatives of LeCorbusier living in Zurich.
