To offer a critical evaluation of the moral arguments offered both for and against proposals to alter human nature through the technology of modern psychology, physiology and genetics. This study includes searching the literature for arguments concerning these proposals, constructing clear statements of the arguments found, and doing some preliminary criticism of some of them.
