To continue work on editing Romeo and Juliet for The International Shakespeare: A Critical Edition. PI will write commentary for the remaining four acts, the date and dramatic provenance of the play, and the stage history of the play prior to 1642 as well as an essay reviewing important problems with some discussion of future research areas and a selective bibliographical essay describing the seminal historical and literary works on the play.
