To continue archival research into musical patronage at the French court under Charles VIII and Louis XII. Project will focus on the musicians of, and music composed for, the queen-consort of these two monarchs. Study will include descriptions of the festivities and the music prepared and performed for royal visits. Period to be studied: 1476-1515.
