To research a new and lively introduction to Krishna by presenting him and his circle of friends and lovers as they present themselves in vivid Krishna plays which are enacted at the central pilgrimage place in India for Krishna worship, Brindavan. Information will be incorporated into a book which includes annotated translations of eight representative Krishna plays.
