To exhibit. 81 of the Bodmer Prints and accompanying text as a part of a comprehensive display of New Harmony's place as a center of scientific, educational, and historic importance in the development of the United States of America. French explorer Prince Alexander Philipp Maximilian of Wied and Swiss artist Karl Bodmer spent the winter of 1832 in New Harmon prior to their expedition into the Great Plains during 1833-34.
