To establish a direct method Latin program, in which students learn to speak before they learn to read, in the Eudora public school system and to provide a model of such a program for adoption in other Kansas schools. This non-traditional teaching method encourages students to pursue Classical Studies in their future education as well as to explore the classical roots of American culture.
