To support a detailed study of the monumental wall reliefs of the Assyrian kingSargon II (721-705 B.C.), from his palace at Khorsabad (in Modern Iraq). The study will rely primarily on the unpublished and long-lost original drawings made at the time of the discovery of the sculptures in 1844.
