General operating support for state or territorial humanities council

Commission consisting of two institutional administrators, three academic humanists, and five geographically distributed public representatives will use its program funds to bring humanists to local communities to assist the public in analyzing and understanding the range of alternatives before them with regard to educational funding and the rapidly changi8ng programs which such funds support.
