To support local humanities initiatives and state humanities council operations.

The General Supports Grant will be used to support operations and programs of the Northern Marianas Humanities Council during FY 2017. Major programs will include the Community Lecture Series, Community Grants Program, Valentine Sengebau Poetry Competition, Junior High Mock Trial Program, Motheread-Fatheread, the 3rd Marianas History, and the Governor's Humanities Awards.
