The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) seeks $29,720 in support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to identify and convene a working group of twenty experts in the humanities, arts, medicine, and education, who would meet in Washington, DC in the spring or summer of 2017.   This working group would collaborate to produce a strategic plan for integrating the humanities and arts into medical education curricula, in the first phase of a project that would culminate in a curricular planning document titled “The Humanities and the Arts Foundations for Future Physicians.”
