Survey of Historical Agency Placement Opportunities and Training Needs

To plan and conduct a study of the future supply of and demand for graduates of museum training programs. The principal parts of the study are 1) interviews with employing agencies to determine their present employment practices and future needs, 2) discussion with university program directors of their plans, and 3) a tracer survey of program graduates regarding their subsequent work and the usefulness of their training in that work.
