To promote a program of Bicentennial Youth Debates designed to reach high school and college-age youth. The objectives are 3-fold. 1) to encourage an in-depth study of the nation's history and apply historical antecedents to 1976 and the future; 2) to encourage engagement in the dialectical process as a means of examining basic tenet of the society; 3) to provide a means by which secondary participants can become aware of the nation's history and the function of dialectic.
