To organize three colloquia, four seminars and a conference on the role of the music critic in contemporary culture. 3 problems for study will be: 1) proper keyboard instruments for music from the classical period, 2) the criteria for choosing performing versions of works where several variant editions exist, and 3) the work of one composer as refashioned by another composer.
