Expansion of Speakers Bureau with presentations on American history, a conference and public radio programs featuring oral history interview materials, and the development of an online Mississippi Timeline.

The MHC plans to use We the People funds to support and expand ongoing programs, plan and develop new programs, andn provide adequate staffing to carry out these plans. Funds will be used to support and promote appropriate portions on the Speakers Bureau currently in place, to disseminate oral history materials already collected to make them widely available and useful to a variety of audiences, and to plan a Mississippi Timeline to be placed online. Funds will also support a portion of the salary of a part-time staff person to help with these programs.
