FAIN: BC-50248-05

Missouri Humanities Council (St. Louis, MO 63103-2269)
Michael Bouman (Project Director: March 2005 to December 2008)

To support further development of exhibitions that reinterpret the presence of tribal societies in Missouri 200 years ago and to mount the chautauqua program "American the Bountiful."

MHC proposes to expand the scope of consultation and enhance the fabrication techniques in the production of three exhibits covering the heritage of four Native American tribal groups who were once resident in Missouri. The project spans both We The People grants to MHC. MHC further proposed to extend its “America The Bountiful” Chautauqua for a second year, into 2006.
