To support humanities programming on themes in American history and culture through radio, television, and public lectures.

In an effort to increase audience access to humanities programming and civic engagement with our nation’s history and culture, the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities (RICH) seeks $51,560 in support from the “We the People” initiative for three signature programs: EnRICHment Opportunities, Action Speaks, and our collaboration with Rhode Island PBS. Using radio, television, and public lectures, RICH will build involvement with humanities programming by increasing access and responding to our community’s needs through multiple program formats.
